California School Board Association has addressed some issues that deal with publishing school sites and accepting commercial advertising. Questions they consider are: "Who will have input and access to the web site -- students, staff, employee organizations? Will the content of the site be deemed protected speech if input and access are allowed for students, staff, or employee organizations? Can the content of the material on the web site be regulated and, if so, to what extent?"
