Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten

First Unum Life Insurance Company of Tarrytown is the District's first "Adopt-a-Grade" initiative. In adopting the class of 2011 First Unum will train and recruit volunteers to assist with literacy activities and orchestrate multicultural events and arts activities. The pilot project began with a "Day of Sharing" in July, when two dozen First Unum volunteers spent hours revitalizing the pre-K playground at Tappan Hill.
