Middle School Math Teacher

To say the least, I was a late bloomer. I hated my thinness. No matter how much I ate, I could not gain any weight. I wish I had that problem today. I also could not grow. I kept my junior high height until I was a junior in high school. I was 5’6" tall and wanted to be a center on the Sleepy Hollow High School basketball team. Yeah, lots of luck. My hobbies as a 7th grader were very limited. I liked sports, that’s it. I played any sport that had a ball. I didn’t like school because I was bored. My favorite subjects were English, Math and Physical Education. It was because of the influence of my 7th grade English teacher, that I wanted to be a teacher.

Here I am now, working in the very room that I learned to type as a high schooler at Sleepy Hollow.
