The Simpsons is a show that in my opinion should be watched by an audience 9 years- old and over only. It contains some inappropriate concepts and language. On the other hand, it has an amusing dialogue.

SUPERB! This show has an absolutely great cast and a hilarious script. This show, although, has some adult topics and in my opinion should only be watched by an age of 11 year olds and up.

This show is a sports-lover’s dream. It brings them up to beat with everything from Cone’s shutout to Messier’s hat-trick. Another good thing about this is that it can be seen twice a day at, 6:30 AM and at 7:00 PM every day, Monday through Saturday.

This show is one that only children would understand. "All That" is one of the many shows that comes on during SNICK on Saturday nights. It is mostly about a group of children acting in humorous ways. During this program the children do many acts in which they do extremely weird things.

This is a show about a man who goes to live with a family in California. He goes through many hardships, and many funny experiences.

Mario 64 is one of the best games I’ve ever played. It has come a long way since the first Mario Bros. In this version Mario can do moves such as back flip, long jump, side flip and air stomp, just to name a few. I think this game is a 10. It has everything an adventure game should and more, so if you have a N64, this is a game you should have.

MK3 is an upgraded version of Mortal Kombat 3. Personally I think this game was over rated. Sure, the game was good but to me the Mortal Kombat series took a down fall since it’s been overplayed just like the Street Fighter 2 . I think this game deserved a 7.5 rating and I am being nice. So if you can’t get enough of Mortal Kombat, you should get it but if you have had it with MK don’t get it.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is a second version of Mortal Kombat 3. It has ten new characters, four new stages, and all new fatalities. They have added two new selections, two on two, and an eight player tournament. They have also added a new type of fatality, called a "Brutality." A brutality is a fatality which starts out in a combo and ends in an uppercut that makes the opponent explode. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 should not have been called Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 because it is not very similar to Mortal Kombat 3, it should have been called Mortal Kombat 4.

During ‘96 there have been many different groups and singers. Some stay and go on and some just leave their music career. Many that have faded are Blackstreet, Dr. Dre, LL. Cool J, En Vouge, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Brandy, R. Kelly, Immature, Babyface, Coolio, Debra Cox, Boyz 2 Men, and Whitney Houston.

Some groups get really high, but then something happens and the group rips apart. This happened to TLC. T-Boz was one of the singers and she thought that she was too good for the group so she decided to go solo. Unfortunately T-Boz didn’t make it really well because people thought she should have just stuck to TLC.

LL Cool J and Immature. The following make up the second most popular groups: Blackstreet, Dr. Dre, Boyz 2 Men, Fugees, Bone Thugs n’ Harmony, &. Coolio.

Set It Off: This movie is starring Queen LaTifa and Jada Pinkett. In this motion picture, these two, along with two others, rob a bank. Three of the main characters get caught and only Jada Pinkett's character does not. This movie is rated R. by Susana & Jaqueleen

Independence Day:

This movie was good for SCI FI fans or action fans because it mixes aliens and computers with laser shooting and fist fights. The special effects totaled an amazing 53 minutes! The story line was a little shaky but eventually it evened out. All in all it was a good movie for the whole family. by Kurt

This is a movie Tom Hanks directed, wrote, starred in, and wrote the sound track for. This movie is a comedy, tear jerker, and a love story all rolled into one. It’s about a band that needs a name and a drummer so they pick a guy named Guy and he changes their only song [which was slow] into a rock and roll hit.

The band is called the Wonders [who struggled with their names until the manager came along] and went on tour and recorded other songs until they finally break up and the drummer goes solo. by Kurt

High School High: This movie is all about a high school that is really out of shape and the teachers cannot keep the students in control. Space Jam: Right now, there are many movies in the theaters. One of the good movies right now is Space Jam. I personally saw that movie and thought it was very good. I especially thought it was good because it is a great movie that the whole family can watch. In the movie, Michael Jordan stars as a basketball player. When aliens attack, Michael and the Loony Toons team up to put an end to the alien attack by playing them in a basketball game.

This movie has created an instant reaction with people all over the United States. Everybody likes this movie. This movie is so popular that they have made numerous items already. Some of the things that they have come out with are stuffed toys, action figures, video games, and books.

So, in my personal opinion, I think that everybody should go see this movie because it is fun to watch and you will love how the Loony Toons star along with basketball superstar, Michael Jordan. by Mariel

Thinner:

This is a great thriller by Steven King. It’s about a man who kills a gypsy’s daughter in a car accident. In return, the gypsy puts a curse on him that makes him thinner. The man follows the gypsy and tries to get the gypsy to take off the curse. After a while, the gypsy gets frustrated and gives the man a pie. He told the man that if he gets someone to eat the pie he will be free of the curse. At the end, the man gives the pie to his wife, because she is having an affair with another man. This movie is rated R and I give it 2 and a half stars. by Jose

101 Dalmatians: As always Disney does it again. It’s about 2 Dalmatians who have babies. The babies get kidnapped by a lady who wants to kill them to make fur coats. The two dogs go rescue their puppies and in doing so, they find a bunch of other puppies. Together they make 101 Dalmatians. This movie is rated G and I give it 3 stars. by Jose

Ransom: This motion picture is about a boy who gets kidnapped and the kidnapper is demanding a ransom. He wants money, but the family can’t come up with the money. Then the father gets desperate and goes after the kidnapper. He looks everywhere for his son and finally finds his him. This movie is rated R and I give it 3 stars. by Jose

JAMES & THE GIANT PEACH

This was a good movie. I liked the acting, the music, and the clayamation.

The acting was unbelievable. The actors looked like they were really experiencing the movie!!! When the peach fell off the cliff, the actors seemed like they were really upset. They seemed like they were having fun making the movie.

The music was good. It was put in at the right times. When there was danger, they put in music that made you think there was going to be danger. I liked all the music that was played!!!!

The claymation was excellent. The way they moved the clay without breaking it was amazing!!! When they had the clay figures go under water I thought they were going to break. They made it look like real people, but they looked like they were smaller.

William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet

The film has the same dialogue as the original play but it takes place in modern times. There are big differences. Instead of swords they use guns, instead of horses they drive cars, and instead of it taking place in Verona, Italy, it takes place in Verona Beach, California. by Alison
