Time: 15 minutes

Drag is the force that slows down things as they move through the air. On an airplane drag pushes against the plane and slowing it down. Try this experiment for yourself to find out how drag works.

Fold one piece of paper in to a small square. The friend should hold the full piece of paper in one hand and the folded piece of paper in the other hand. Have the friend drop the pieces of paper at the same time. Record your observations.
