Hillary Wolf
You
might know Hillary Wolf from her role in Home Alone or Home Alone II
where she played the sister Meagan. But Hillary Wolf is also a world class Judo
competitor. Hillary Wolf was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 7, 1977. She
started Judo when she was 7 years. She is nidan (2nd degree black belt.) She
grew up in Lincoln Park and graduated from Francis W. Parker High School where
she ran track and played field hockey. She became the youngest US National
champion at 14 winning the 99-pound division. In 1994, she won the first-ever
U.S. gold medal at the junior world championships. In 1995, she finished fifth
at the world championships in Japan. Hilary was a member of the 1996 and 2000 US
Olympic judo teams. She began a job as a movie star she acted in Home Alone(1990),
Help Wanted Kids, Home Alone II and Big Girls Don't Cry, They Get Even.
Hillary really enjoyed her experience at the Olympics. "I think this is the
beauty of the Olympics. Bringing together so many people with so many different
experiences and putting them together. Each of them the best at what they do.
That is what the Olympics are all about."
