Serena Williams is one of the best tennis players ever. Serena was born in
Saginaw, Michigan on the September 26, 1981. She has 4 older sisters. Her
parents are Richard and Oracene Williams. Serena grew up in Compton, California.
Serena entered her first tournament when she was only four and a half years old.
She turned professional at the age of 14. In 1997 she was ranked 304th
in the world but by 1999 she had moved up to 21. Serena is a very strong tennis
player; she is 5 foot 10, 145 pounds and plays tennis right handed. Serena plays
her best when she is playing against her older sister Venus.
Serena Williams is smart and full of energy and who lot of fun to watch!
