She was born on June 22, 1949, the place was Summit, New Jersey. She had 2 brothers Dan and Harry. Her father was named Harry and mother was named Mary. She has a husband named Don Gummer and they have four children named: Henry, Mary, Grace, Louisa. Meryl went to Vassar College and Yale University. She is an actress. After graduation she got a job at Joseph Papp’s New York Shakespeare Festival. Meryl has been nominated 14 times for an Academy Award (Oscar) She won two! In 1980 she won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Kramer vs. Kramer and in 1983 she won Best Actress in a Leading Role for Sophie's Choice. She starred in movies like "Postcards from the Edge," "Death Becomes Her," "Out of Africa," "Sophie's Choice," "Silkwood," and "The Devil Wears Prada." She was on Broadway in the early 1970s. Meryl Streep is a very famous and talented actress.
