Silda Wall Spitzer

Silda Alice Wall Spitzer served as the First Lady of New York State. Silda was born on December 10, 1957 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She grew up in Concord, North Carolina. Her father, Bob, was a hospital administrator and her mother, Trilby, was a homemaker. She was raised Baptist. She played the French horn from 7th grade all the way through high school. She graduated from Meredith College and then went to Harvard Law School. Her occupation was to be a corporate lawyer.
Silda Wall Spitzer married former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer on October 17, 1987 and together they have three daughters Elyssa, Sara Beth, and Jenny. They were really grateful to have them.
Silda Wall Spitzer founded Children for Children, a not- for- profit organization that fosters community involvement and social responsibility in young people. It is a serious business.
