Amanda Freed was born on
December 26, 1979 in Fountain Valley. Amanda's full name was Amanda Louise
Freed. She has a brother named Michael and two sisters named Kristen and Ashley.
Amanda loves to ski and her favorite class is biology. Amanda's parents names
were Mr. John Freed Amanda's father and Mrs. Karen Freed Amanda's mother. Amanda
graduated from Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, CA. She is a college
student as University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA.)
Amanda is a great pitcher in softball. She was a member of the USA Olympic Softball Team in 1996 that won a Gold Medal. She spent all of last summer with USA softball team. She played with the USA blue team. USA Blues finished 3rd at the Canada Cup, which was won by USA gold. The gold medal winner at 1999 Us Olympic Cup opened the tournament for Team USA with a complete game three hit victory over New Zealand. Amanda won the gold medal at the Olympic Cup. She will be playing with the US Olympic team in Sydney, Australia this fall.
