Jane Fonda
Jane Fonda was born on 1937 in New York City. Jane Fonda was a motion-picture
actor, a political activist, and a writer and producer of exercise books and videos. Her
father is the very famous actor Henry Fonda, her brother Peter Fonda is also an actor.
Jane Fonda married a French film director Roger Vadim. In 1971 Jane won an Academy award
for Best Actress in "Klute." In 1972 Jane Fonda visited North Vietnam during the
Vietnam War. People did not like what she did ad many were angry at her. She married Tom
Hayden an American political activist. In 1977 Fonda formed her own company. In 1981 Fonda
wrote the best selling workout book. In 1991 Fonda married a buisness executive Ted
Turner. He owns the Atlanta Braves and the TV network TBS. After her marriage Fonda
announced that she was giving up acting. The last picture she acted in was Stanley and
Iris (1990).
