Who would have thought that Elizabeth Taylor would have turned out to be such an excellent actress! She was born in London on February 27, 1932. Her American parents brought her back to the states in 1939. Elizabeth started her acting career when she was 10 years old. She was in movies such as Lassie Come Home(1943), National Velvet(1944), Jane Eyre(1943) and Little Women(1949).  She is American's longest-reigning glamour queen. She has the most beautiful eyes ever. She continued to appear in movies as she grew up. Taylor won her first Academy Award (Oscar) for Butterfield 8 in 1960 and her second Academy Award for her performance as Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf in 1966. During the 1970's Taylor had problems with alcohol and marriages, and her acting career suffered. She was married eight times at last count. She had terrible boyfriends, so I see why she was married eight times. She has the most unusual friends like Michael Jackson and Malcolm Forbes. Did you know that for all her work in support of AIDS research she earned the 1993 Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, and she received the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award and the list goes on and on. She even has her own line of perfumes Passion, White Diamonds and Black Pearls. Elizabeth Taylor is a great actress!
