Julia Child

Julia Child was born in Pasadena, California. She is a famous chef. She went to Smith College in Massachusetts. She graduated in 1934. She studied cooking at the world famous Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. She didn't like TV dinners. She taught American to use fresh ingredients instead of frozen. She had a TV show on WGBH-TV in Boston called "The French Chef." It first aired on February 11, 1963. Almost forty years later she still has a cooking show. It is on the Food Network.
