Deborah Carter
Deborah Carter is a professional woman
basketball player in the WNBA. She was born in 1972. She plays for the Washington Mystics.
She was the leading scorer in high school with more than 2,800 points, and Georgia Player
of the year. Deborah feels her most important job is being a mom. She has a three-year-old
daughter Jeremica. Jeremica likes women's basketball. When she is not playing basketball
she is the manager of a grocery store and she works with her local Boys and Girls Club of
America. When Deborah retires she wants to be a coach and teach other people. She hopes
her dream of coaching come true. Maybe she'll get to coach her daughter.
