Jill Bakken

Jill Bakken and her partner, Vonetta Flowers, spent the best 1.37.76 minutes of their lives on the bobsleigh track in Salt Lake City, Utah. They brought home the first Olympic gold medal for women bobsleighers in Olympic history.

Jill was born on January 25, 1977, in Portland, Oregon. Jill is famous for bobsleighing. She went to Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Washington. She graduated in 1995. Her hometown is Park City, Utah. She went to school at the University of Utah. She played soccer for Oregon State. She likes to do active stuff outside. Her favorite foods are strawberries and chocolate. She wanted to represent her country at the highest levels possible so Jill joined the army. She won a gold medal in bobsleighing in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
