My name is Robert Barstow and I already know your name is Raymond. Raymond, I think we could really get to be friends because we both like to be sneaky and throw snow balls. We' re both brave too. Raymond I think we are the same because we both live in the U.S.A. and like to do many of the things I like. We have to listen to the teacher but you had to listen to the principal and listen to Ut's story. My classroom is probably about like yours, but we maybe have more materials and desks. Dear Raymond,
We could be friends because we both like to play jokes on people and we are both brave. I play jokes on people and one of them was to say, "Here Dad, here's some Diet Coke," and it is Root beer! But I never got to do it. You played a joke because you threw a snowball at Ut and hid. You are brave because you talked in front of the principal and you almost got in trouble for doing it. I am brave because I walked in the woods all by myself and picked up logs to build a house. We are different because you have red hair and I have brown hair. We are the same because we are both boys and we both like to have fun. You learned about Vietnam and we learned about Vietnam. We do math, reading and spelling. My favorite subjects are science and math.
