Mississippi

One day I was driving and I saw a sign saying welcome to Mississippi. I guess I made a wrong turn somewhere in Louisiana and ended up in Vicksburg. I had crossed over the Mississippi River into a city that was a major Civil War battlefield. From Vicksburg, I drove to the state capital, Jackson. So I went to Jackson and saw there was a festival going on. I got out and bought a few souvenirs. Then I got back in my truck and drove off. Next I went south to Columbia. It is on the Pearl River. Mississippi is a pretty state but it sure is hot! I guess I'd better get back to Louisiana.
