Georgia
by Danny

I drove into Georgia from Tennessee. I had to cross the Appalachian Mountains to get to Atlanta. I passed by Stone Mountain. Atlanta is the state capital and it largest city. Martin Luther King, Jr. is buried in Atlanta. Georgia is know as the "peach state." Georgia grows some great peaches! I hear that in the Okefenokee Swamp there are alligators! I think I visit Savannah instead. As I was driving I saw so many farms growing cotton. There were also big buildings where fabric is made. I passed a few chicken farms and peanut farms too. I stopped at one peach orchards to try a "Georgia peach." It was delicious. I picked up a bag of pecans for the road. I drove all the way to the Atlantic Ocean and visited Savannah before I headed off the South Carolina. Georgia was a great place to visit!
