I left Texas and drove to Arkansas. My first stop was
in Texarkana. It is called Texarkana because half of the city is in
Texas and the other half in in Arkansas. From there I drove north to Hot
Springs. I passed through Hope, Arkansas, home of President Clinton. I
took a trip to the Hot Springs National Park and soaked my aching bones.
All this driving is hard on you. As I was driving I saw lots of forests.
It stays pretty warm here all year round. From there I went to the state
capital, Little Rock. I really wanted to get a good look at the
Mississippi River. It separates Arkansas from Mississippi. Maybe I can
find a paddle boat to ride on.
