My state is Georgia. It's located in the south area of the U.S It has a very big population which is 10,478,216 and the size is 58,876 square miles. The climate in Georgia is one of the best climate zones. Every year they have 50 in of rain. The capital is Atlanta, Albany, Augusta, Columbus, Savannah, and Macon is the cities.

My state motto is "Wisdom, Justice, Moderation." The Brown Thrasher is my state bird. The state fish is the Large Mouth Bass. Cherokee rose is the state tree is called Live Oak. My song is ''Georgia on my Mind'', the state waltz is ''Our Georgia."

My state has Appalachian Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountain it also has Altamha, Flint, and Savannah rivers.

Native Americans lived Georgia for over 10,000 years. Over 31 floods caused death and damage. For their customs they have a celebration every year and they also celebrate Robert E Lee and for Jefferson Davis's Birthdays. They also include skiing, mountain climbing, and fishing. Georgia manufactures cotton, iron, limestone, tile, textiles, equipment, and transportation. Georgia is also good in producing paper chemicals. Georgia grows peaches, tobacco, beans, peanuts, pecans, seeds, and peppers. They also raise cows, chickens and hogs. Above ground there's forestry to create wood and below ground there's mining. Georgia is also known for clay and clay products, marble, granite, vegetable mineral oils and coal.
