The War Years

During the Civil War, Harriet was a spy and nurse for the North. After 
the war when all slaves were freed, Harriet moved to Auburn, New York. 
There she raised vegetables to help poor people. She died on March 10, 1913,
 but nobody forgot the way she risked her life so many times to help 
others live in freedom.
