How do you find out
what is wrong with a sick person? What is making them sick? Doctors in Tibet use
observation, questioning and pulse reading to make a diagnosis.
The tree of diagnosis
in this thangka has three main branches. Which branch do you think has the doctor asking
questions? Which one is he examining the pulse of the patient? Which branch is the doctor
observing a bowl of liquid? Do you know what this liquid is? It's urine! Doctors in Tibet
examine urine to find what's wrong with their patient.
We have created a game
named Trickster Trails. Follow the trail and help the Tibetan doctors find out what is
wrong with their patients. Everything on the trail can also be found in the painting.
Follow the trail to good health!
