Yippie! Lots and Lots of Pets

It was a week after Louis’s birthday. He named the bird that Uncle McAllister had got him Chickadee. Louis loved Chickadee. He cleaned her, fed her, and played with her. But the problem was, Alphonse was lonely. Louis tried to play with Alphonse too, but he had to admit, Chickadee was a little more interesting. Louis realized he had to do something. He told Alphonse that Chickadee was fun and nice. Alphonse nodded meekly and went over to try to play. They became good friends and everyone was happy.

The year passed quickly and Louis's birthday was coming up again. Over on Scotland, Uncle McAllister was also thinking about Louis’s birthday. Finally, on the day of Louis’s birthday, Uncle McAllister brought Louis a little frog. Louis’s Parents couldn’t see what harm this little frog could do, so they let Louis keep him.
