The Mysterious Bird

The McDee family went to Scotland. In the woods they hiked with Uncle McAllister. Uncle McAllister found a rock and gave it to Louis and they took it home. There was a gigantic crack in the rock when they got home. A gigantic flying creature popped out. Louis named him Arcuno. Alphonse liked him at first but then he didn’t because Arcuno was so hyper. Arcuno the bird wouldn’t eat regular bird food. He was very hyper because he was so hungry and the McDee’s didn’t know he was a meat-eater or that he would just eat turkey. The family was worried about Arcuno. He was hyper because he had nothing to eat. He was breaking all the trees in the neighborhood and driving Alphonse crazy. On Thanksgiving Day, Arcuno smelled his way to the kitchen and saw a huge turkey still hot! He gobbled it down and curled up in the kitchen and went to sleep for a week. It was going to be Louis’s birthday again soon. He wondered what Uncle McAllister would get him next.
