Be an Author
Steven
Kellogg, the author and illustrator, needs your help. His publisher has asked
him to write a spin-off story based on The Mysterious Tadpole. He is very
busy working on another project so he has asked if you could write the story for
him. His publisher has agreed - you are hired!
Your job is to:
- Write a story that begins where The Mysterious Tadpole ends. You need to use Steven Kellogg's problem/solution strategy to develop the plot and an open-ended ending to keep your audience wondering if there will be another spin-off.
- Draw an illustration for the cover of your new book.
- Share your story with some friends and have them ask you questions about it. (You're not supposed to know this but......the publisher is thinking about sending you around the country to do Book Talks and interviews about your new book!)
