Spring at Stone Barns
By Erik
What is Spring?
Spring tastes like papery soft fresh spinach and bittery, peppery, mustardy, arugula.
Spring sounds like baby lambs baaing and breezes whooshing around me.
Spring looks like newborn lambs pink and white crocuses and yellow daffodils.
Spring smells like newly cut grass, musty hay, herbs like rosemary and tomato plants.
Spring feels like dry dirt, misty in the greenhouse, smooth and spiky leaves, and rough scratchy hay.
