On a chilly and sunny morning I took a nature walk along the paths at the Stone Barns. I was surprised to see pretty brown horses running in the field. As I walked down the path the scent reminded me of apple crisp. It was coming from the café. When we were going to the bus I ran my hand along the leaves. They felt oily. As I listened I could hear a blue jay because I was listening closely.
