Stone Barns Animals in the Fall

On a chilly and sunny morning I took a nature walk along the paths at the Stone Barns. I couldn’t help but notice the big leaves. They were bigger than my head, foot, and hand! They were even bigger than ten leaves put together. I was standing quietly and I heard the leaves crackling under my feet. I sniffed the fresh fall air. I tasted the basil and bitter dill. It reminded me of a tasty salad I once had.
