On a chilly and sunny morning I took a nature walk along the paths at the Stone Barns. I stared at a scarecrow graveyard. I noticed that the stuffed figures were slumping over like they were dead. When I walked into the herb garden I was surprised to see Mrs. Rollman eating a flower. I just couldn’t imagine the taste of bitter until I ate dill. It was bitter! Then it was time to go. On the way out I spotted some big pigs and one brown cow. On top of the hill, I caught a glimpse of lots of chicken and sheep just as I left Stone Barns. By Youssef |
