Sac Spider
by Hayle & Staci
Sac spiders are long and thin. The sac spider is light green
to yellow white with a dark stripe on the front of its body. It has 8 eyes in
three rows. It is 3/4 inches long. They like to roam the ceilings and walls
looking for something to eat. Mainly neotropical, this family has 36 species
north of Mexico. Those spiders have two claws at the tip of the leg. The jaws
are brown and the legs are very smooth with the front legs longer than the rear
legs.
