Cobweb Spider
By Max & Griffin

The cobweb spider lives in shrubs and trees. Cobweb spiders are about 1/3 in. long. They have several dark stripes on their upper side. Cobweb spiders have tangled webs. They make large webs in the dark. Some live in quarries and forests. Cobweb spiders make up one of the largest families of common spiders. They have no teeth or few teeth. They are usually sedentary, hanging upside down in the center of an irregular cobweb or hiding in a crevice at the edge of the web.
