"Three weeks passsed and it happened again! John was astonished when he saw the bump reappear. Bang, crash! The guy picked up the chair and slammed it on the rug.
John was very scared. The creepy little thing under the rug vanished. As fast as he could, he ran to his mom's house. He went into her house and they both saw the bump again. A colorful vase fell off a table and the TV turned on. Their hearts were pounding. They called the police, the police came and the TV was off. The police didn't see anything in the house. For some odd reason John saw the bump again.
John slowly picked up the rug, then he heard crying. He was surprised to see a little sky blue elf. So he decided to start to talk to it. John asked, "Why are you crying?" The little elf replied, "I'm so lonely, I haven't any friends." John felt sorry for the little creature and said, "I'll be your friend." Suddenly, John's mom came into the living room and it disappeared. Then he said to himself, is this my imagination?
As John's mom walked out of the room, the little elf remained hidden behind the couch. John saw the troll and smiled as the creature gave him a little wink.
