On a dark Halloween night my friends dared me to go into the haunted house across the street. I wanted to show them that I could do it, so I slowly turned the knob. The door creaked open and I tiptoed inside. Suddenly behind me I heard the door slam. It was pitch black inside. I tried finding my way by touching the rough wall. As I continued creeping through the house I saw a light coming from under a door. I decided to go in. I was nervous. Inside, there were cobwebs all over a fluffy broken bed. Lying in the bed was a vampire. I thought, "What was going to happen next."
