One of my traditions is to pass something from generation to generation. It is a necklace that is very special. It is a white glittering diamond necklace. My great grandmother gave it to my grandmother. She gave it to my mom. We always keep this special necklace in the special locker. We wear this necklace on special occasions like diwali or other Indian festivals only. When I grew up, on my eighteenth birthday, my mom will pass the necklace to me and I will give it to my children in future.
