My Life with A Wave
By Samantha Wi.

During summer vacation, I went to the beach. I liked the way the sun glistened on the crystal water. Just then, I saw a wave. It was silver with hints of gold. It was gliding through the water towards me soundlessly. It smacked me playfully. It didn't hurt, but it left a red spot. I wanted to keep the wave. But how could I get it? I remembered that my mom had brought a big container. The wave was coming closer, so I had to hurry. I sprinted towards the ocean and I had caught it! Then, I gave it the insides of clams because that is what waves like to eat. When I got home, the wave started to look lonely. So then I bought some fish to accompany him. And I kept that wave forever!
