My Wave
By Nikki
When I walked across the beach I saw the sun. It was like a beam of light shining on my back. The sand felt like it was melting on my feet.
When I walked closer to the water I could almost smell it. I saw a big beautiful wave; it was so pretty! There were sparkles glimmering on it. I thought to myself that I needed to bring it home.
First I needed a very large tank, then I would get the wave. I jumped in the water and swam. I finally got the wave to go to the shore. Quickly I got the very large tank. I did it! Then I got some seaweed and tied it around the tank and pulled. I brought it home. I asked my dad to make a room for it and he said yes. When he was done we put the wave in its room, and named it Wavey.
A few weeks later I went back to the beach and I wasn't very happy. I didn't see a wave in the water. I decided to put the wave back. We went back to the beach and returned the wave to the ocean. My dad - and I waved good by to it and I said I would never take a wave out of the water again .
