Cherished Treasures

On a recent visit to the Burns Film Center, our class viewed "The Teacup." It is a story about a young boy's experience with a cherished teacup that was passed down in his family from his grandfather who had hand-crafted it. When we returned to our classroom, the children discussed the idea of special objects holding a place of honor in our families and hearts. Each child then wrote about his/her family treasure.
