Whoosh, Whoosh! I
heard a sound as I was walking through the cornfield on a golden sunny, autumn
day. Suddenly I saw a big shadow that waved at me! It was standing up on the
ground. It had spooky little button eyes. I blinked two times. As I got closer
to the figure with blue overalls on its floppy body, I noticed a spooky green
shirt. I saw a hat that was brown and shaped like a cornstalk with brown
patches. I was surprised to see the bright and new purple shoes. I shivered when
I caught sight of a pitchfork in his straw hand. The pitchfork was brown and
pointed. I couldn't take my eyes of him! It was a big and tall friendly
scarecrow. I hugged myself and kept on going.
