Whoosh, whoosh. I heard a sound as I was walking through the cornfield on a golden, sunny, autumn day. I saw something. It looked like it was a farmer but it wasn't. It looked like he or she had an old brown worn out vest with a sunflower on it. He or she appeared to be wearing black and blue suspenders with orange basketball shaped buttons. I gasped when I saw his round googley eyes. His maroon patchwork nose reminded me of a Hershey's kiss. Two round, violet-red, rosy cheeks shone on his face. His open mouth smiled at me showing four white buckteeth. The scarecrow wore black shoes with worn out shoelaces. I squinted as I tried to get a closer look at the sunflower patch covering the worn out knees on his faded blue jeans. I looked closely at a Sherlock Holmes detective hat resting on his straw head. In his hand he or she held nothing. It was a scarecrow!
