Whoosh, whoosh! I heard a sound as. I was walking through the cornfield on a golden, sunny, autumn day. I saw a figure shaped like a woman. I breathed deeply as I noticed that the figure was as tall as a ruler. When I reached out to touch it, I realized it was made out of straw. The figure had brown overalls with sunflower patches and colorful red and blue buttons. She wore an old worn out purple shirt. Her body was stuffed with bristly hay. I gazed at the scarecrow's face and saw that she had red pretty cheeks with a smile as wide as my finger. Her eyes were green like the green grass. It was a scarecrow!
