Whoosh, whoosh! I heard a sound as I was walking through the cornfield on a golden, sunny, autumn day. Then in the distance far away I saw a shadowy stick figure. I took several steps. I wiped my eyes. I stared in disbelief and I wiped my eyes again. The stick figure was smaller than me and a couple of cornstalks. I took a couple more steps. I took a better look. She was taller than I thought she would be. The stick figure wore blue overalls and a checkered shirt. The overalls had light blue and dark blue buttons and patches covering the raggedy denim. The unusual stick figure had a triangle nose. It was red and white. I smiled when I saw that she had one snowflake resting on her rosy red cheek. Her goggle eyes were black, white and blue. I couldn't help but notice her wide toothy smile. I laughed to myself when it appeared as though she was sticking her tongue out at me! Her old shoes and laces were dusty and brown. Then looking carefully I noticed she was a scarecrow!
