The Hawk
Spanning the News Wing to Wing

The Hawk is the school’s student-run newspaper with the mission of promoting a positive school spirit, highlighting school-related events and projects, and strengthening the school-community connection.  Written and designed by 5th through 8th graders, it is professionally printed three times a year. Copies are available to be delivered to community centers, organizations, and businesses upon request.  In September 2009, the Newspaper Team launched their innovative online news wiki, where the goal is to post additional events and updates that occur between paper printings, as well as student-created slideshows, videos, and podcasts.

Mr. Brown is the staff editor, as well as the person who works with the design software.
Mrs. Jacobs and Mrs. Poux were the parent editors for the 2008-2009 school year.
Mrs. Poux has continued as the parent editor for 2009-2010.
