United States and Canadian National Park Presentation
Your assignment:
You are a Park Ranger and are lucky enough to have a partner. You work in one of the United States or Canada’s national parks. Visitor attendance has dropped dramatically. Your boss is very concerned, as are you. Your job, along with your partner, is to make a Power Point presentation to attract new visitors to your park.
Things you should include in your presentation:
• Name and location of park
• Climate and land features that are unique to your park and the attractions that take advantage of these features.
• History of the park
• Pictures and maps
Research: 3 computer periods
You will use the Internet, Encarta and your social studies textbook.
