In December, I peer at the glittering Christmas tree and the hand wrapped gifts that I want to open so much.
In December, I listen closely to hear the jingle bells on Santa’s adorable reindeer sleigh and the Ho! Ho! Ho! of old Saint Nick.
In December, I enjoy the feel of the soft cookie dough before it bakes in the oven so it is ready for Santa when he comes.
In December, I breathe deeply to smell the aroma of fondue and the open fire with all the smoke going up the chimney.
In December, I close my eyes and I can almost taste the hot chocolate with marshmallows on top when we watch "The Polar Express."
I do like all these things in December, but I love being with my family the most.
