At Christmas Time

At Christmas time, I gaze at the lights of red and white. I was surprised to see so many presents with my name on them. I listened to Santa’s sleigh as he got close to my house. I could make out the sound of carolers coming closer to my house. When I touched the Christmas tree it pricked me.

At Christmas time, I enjoy the feel of the cold snow as I made a snowman. I sniffed the ginger bread in the oven. The aroma of the Christmas ham in the oven made my lips water. I tasted the warm hot chocolate in my mouth. My mouth watered as I tasted the snicker-doodles fresh from the oven.

I love Christmas because it is a time to be with family and friends.
