At Christmas Time
At Christmas time, I gazed at the sparkling decorations hanging on my porch. I couldn’t help but notice the dazzling yellow star on top of the Christmas tree.
At Christmas time, my mouth watered as the chicken came out of the oven. I tasted the beans on the dining table as my mom offered us some chicken.
At Christmas time, I enjoyed the feel of the hot fire place and when I ran my hand along the needles on the Christmas tree, I laughed.
At Christmas time, I sniffed at the hot chocolate on the table. I inhaled the scent of the candy canes hanging on the tree.
At Christmas time, I strained to hear the sound of Santa’s sleigh landing on my roof. I listened closely to mom putting out treats on the table to give to Santa.
Christmas time is the best time of the year because I get to decorate the house and eat tasty foods. I get to sit near the fire place, drink hot chocolate, and wait for Santa’s sleigh.
