On
September 24th my third grade class and I went to Stone Barns to meet Mrs.
Obama. It was so amazing! We also got to sing her a song about plants which she
liked and clapped for us. We even got to take a picture with her.
My group also got to go to the chicken coop to gather a lot of eggs. We put them in a basket for the chefs to cook with later. We went to the garden to pick tomatoes off the vine. The farmer let us try the tomatoes and they were so sweet.
Later that day, we ate at the Blue Hill Restaurant. We had pasta with green sauce and plum crisp for dessert!
Meeting Mrs. Obama was so exciting because we were the only class at Pocantico Hills to meet her!
