POND MATH

In first grade we learn how to add and subtract. We have also been learning all about ponds and the animals that live there. We made up addition and subtraction pond stories. We hope you enjoy them!

One day there were 5 ducks and 2 turtles came. 2 ducks ran away. How many were left? By Oliver

One day there were three butterflies. Then along came a frog. He ate two butterflies. How many were left? By Justin

I was at a small pond. I saw 20 frogs. And 10 jumped out.
