River Otter
By Arielle

My endangered animal is the river otter. River otters are from 3 to 4 feet long. They weigh about 44-82 pounds. It has short legs. It moves fast. Their webbed feet help otters swim in the river. They eat seaweed and meat. The otter gets food from water animals like crayfish, trout, insects and birds. Otters have sharp claws and sharp teeth to protect themselves. The mother otter protects her little scared tiny baby otters, the babies go behind the mom's back.
