My endangered animal is the pupfish. It is a tiny fish 2 - 21/2 inches long. It is silvery blue to silvery brown. It swims with its tail. It lives in springs, pods, and marshes, in the desert in California and Arizona and Mexico. They eat plankton and algae. It lives less than 1 year. It is endangered because of loss of habitat.
